Stijn ter Braak (b. 1995, Groningen)  is primarily known for his sculptures and often site-specific installations, which depict objects and realities based on his personal life in a realistic, 1:1 scale.
He creates these works using a wide range of discarded and waste materials, combined with his experience as a classically trained painter to heighten the illusion of reality. Viewers are invited to immersive themselves in a recognizable but surreal world, often shifting their perspective.
Ter Braak also sells some of his objects through a webshop. By blurring the boundaries between art and everyday objects, he questions the value we assign to our material surroundings.

His work has been shown in several solo exhibitions at (among others) Kunsthal Rotterdam, 019
Ghent, and Lichtekooi Artspace in Antwerp, as well as in many group exhibitions throughout
Belgium and the Netherlands.
Since December 2024, he has been maintaining a studio at FAAR collective.
